About Arcwell Systems

Arcwell is a fictional engineering company built around a simple premise: critical event systems should be inspectable before they become mysterious.
Our story
Arcwell Systems was established in 2021 by a small group of platform engineers who had spent years debugging event pipelines with hidden retry behavior and scattered operational state. They designed Arc Runtime to make routing, delivery, and failure handling explicit.
The company operates from the fictional city of Northglass, Oregon, and serves equally fictional engineering teams through a documentation first product model.

Documentation principles
We name guarantees, constraints, and failure modes directly. Examples favor complete tasks over isolated syntax. Every reference page links back to a concept or guide that explains why the API exists.
Fictional customer note
Northline Cartography, a fictional regional mapping service, moved its dispatch updates to Arc Runtime in 2025. Its case study focuses on replacing service-specific retry logic with one inspected stream policy and a documented replay process.
